New Delhi: On the occasion of Diwali, Police Commissioner Delhi Rakesh Asthana distributed sweets to personnel deployed to patrol in the city on Thursday night.
Asthana visited several places including C-Hexagon, India Gate and Pragati Maidan where he welcomed police personnel on duty.
“I visited various places to improve their morals.
Our personnel were deployed everywhere including crowded places to ensure no accidents and safe people,” Asthana told Ani.
Meanwhile, firecrackers exploded in many places in the national capital on Thursday even though there was a ban.
In particular, the Delhi Government has forbidden to break and sell all firecrackers, including green crackers.
