Delhi Police constable dies in road Accident

NEW DELHI: A Delhi Police constable expired after her two-wheeler was struck by another car in northwest Delhi’s Maurya Enclave on Saturday while she had been coming home following night responsibility, police stated.
Manisha (27), also a resident of Burari, has been published at Raj Park police station that falls under the authority of this outside area of the Delhi Police.
The incident happened about the Outer Ring Road at approximately 9am once the girl was coming home to some two-wheeler following her nighttime duty.
She had been struck by another car that has been coming from underneath, according to the authorities.
On reaching the place, the police discovered that the woman constable along with her two-wheeler lying about the street.
She had been rushed to a local hospital, where she succumbed to accidents throughout the course of therapy, ” a senior police officer stated.
He said the car hasn’t yet been identified yet and also the authorities are searching for CCTV cameras in and about the collision place to determine the sequence of incidents.
A case under part 279 (Rash riding or driving on a public manner ) and 304 A (premature death by neglect ) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered in Maurya Enclave police station, the officer stated.
