New Delhi: The Branch of Delhi Polda’s crime has arrested a 39-year-old man who was suspected of being a good-organized crime and crime syndicate, officials said on Monday.
LALLAL VERMA aka NEETU, a resident of East Uttam Nagar, is in running around 2016 and Delhi police have announced a prize of Rs 50,000 in his arrest, officials said.
Deputy Commissioner of the Police (crime) Monika Bhardwaj said that on Sunday, the Cell of Crime Branch Team Interstate, Chanakyapuri arrested Verma, which was a well-organized syndicate kingpin.
He said Verma was ordered under the strict Maharashtra control of the organized crime law in 2015 at Bhajanpura Delhi and was declared a proclaimed actor.
RS 50,000 gift was announced to him.
He was previously booked by Punjab police in a similar case.
During the 2015 case investigation, accused Roshan Lal Verma, Father of Lalit Verma, who was also part of the syndicate who made a disclosure statement where he named his son as one of the active partners in carrying out a criminal syndicate, he said.
Further investigation revealed that after most syndicate members were arrested, Lalit Verma and several colleagues managed syndicate work, police said.
