New Delhi: Police Commissioner Delhi Rakesh Asthana on Saturday held a meeting with high-ranking officials here and discussed anti-terror steps after inputting a terrorist attack in the national capital.
They also held discussions about how to prevent terrorists from supporting the local population.
In the meeting, Asthana told that there was a terrorist attack in Delhi.
However, he said there were no such attacks that could happen unless the attacker had local support.
“Local criminals, gangsters and orthodox elements can help in such attacks,” he added.
“Cyber cafes, chemical shops, parking spaces, used and car dealers must be examined and monitored professionally.
There is input that gasoline pumps and gasoline tankers can be targeted,” Police Commissioner said.
He also gave instructions to launch a campaign to verify tenants and workers.
With a focus on the police, the police will also hold meetings with Rwas, a secure committee, and coordinate with the ‘eyes and ear schemes’ stakeholders such as Rehriwallah and guards.
