New Delhi: With the arrest of four people, including small film producers, Delhi’s crime branch has broken the gang whose members posed as the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) to squeeze employers.
The gang was led by Santosh Rai, a famous cheat with a dozen cases of nesting against it.
The gang used to cheat the official telephone number and email ID that ended with “.nic” agency such as Ed and Delhi police and sending money laundering notifications to entrepreneurs.
When contacted by the target, they will refer to the target to their aide, which will pose as an advocate and promise to get a case completed as a substitute for a strong amount.
The investigation began after Ed told the police about having received several complaints about someone, who called himself Rajeev Singh, disguised as an enforcement directorate official.

“Investigation by Ed revealed that notifications sent by Rajeev Singh, Special Regional Officials, Central Region Offices, False because there were no officers like that with this name and appointment.

Ed also continued the complaint from someone who had been approached by criminals.

During interrogation, Rai revealed that an Afzal Ahmed, who came out with parole in a murder case, had hatched a conspiracy with his aides – Kuldeep, Sanjay and Arjun Raghav – to get big money.
Raghav contacted Rai, who gave the final form on the plan and finally executed it.
He flared in a cyber expert, Aakash Chauhan, to help him cheat emails and telephone numbers.
Active efforts to arrest them.
Another accusation, Bhupender Singh Gossain, worked with law firms since 2002 on the Patiala home field.
He facilitated the use of lawyers in a court place to his colleagues so that the victims believed that they were real advocates.
