‘Delhi power plant remaining with only 2-3 days of coal stock’

New Delhi: Delhi Power Minister Satyendar Jain on Monday said that most power plants that supply electricity to national capital are left with only two to three days of coal shares.
Overcoming a press conference, Jain said that the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) limits the production capacity of the plant to 55 percent.
“There are a lack of coal in most power plants.
Coal stock in any power plant should not be less than 15 days.
Stocks only remain only for two to three days.
NTPC has limited its plant production capacity.
Up to 50-55 percent.

He further said that Delhi was previously used to get 4,000 megawatts of electricity but now don’t get even half of it.
Previously, Chairman of Minister Delhi Arvind Kejriwal also warned that the national capital could face a power crisis.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Power Officials Delhi, BES and Tata Power reached the residence of the Minister of RK RK Singh’s power for meetings of coal shortages on Sunday.
However, Singh denied the claims of the crisis that rose largely in the country and said that there was no need to panic because there was no power crisis, adding that there was enough coal reserves for electricity production in this country.
He added that Delhi was supplied by the amount of electricity needed and will continue.
