Delhi: protest docs ‘manhandled’, 7 cops ‘injured’

New Delhi: Indian Federation of Resident Doctors Associations (Forda), who pioneered protests for the delay in the Neet-PG counseling, on Monday alleged that several doctors participating in the parade of the Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) campus to the Supreme Court was persecuted and was hit by the police .
However, the police denied the allegations.
According to the doctor who protested, they marched from the MAMC campus to the Supreme Court when police stopped them near Ito.
“The police struggled several of our colleagues and several other bundles on the bus parked in Ito.
Is this how they treat the doctors, who were praised by the government as Corona soldiers just a few months ago,” said one of the doctors.
Dr.
Anujggarwal, Secretary General of Safdarjung Rda, said the firm’s crackdown on peaceful protests was dissatisfied and would cause more protests.
Police, on the other hand, claimed that they held up 12 people who protested at Ito Junction.
“They were taken to the police station Rajendra Nagar and then released,” police said.
According to the police, starting at 9:30 a.m., these people protested at Junction Ito.
“We told them to move from there and tried to calm them down but they didn’t listen,” said an officer.
They continued their protests for five to six hours.
Later, they began protesting both CarrieGeways, which caused Legraff Snarl.
And when the police began to hold them back, they became a hard bus and attacked the bus.
“About seven police were injured during the entire incident,” the officer said.
When asked if they stated the protesters, the police denied the allegations and said they only arrested them according to the law and there were no benefits that occurred.
“They were taken to the police station and were released,” the officer said.
Delhi police later during the day registering FIR under the riots, causing the obstruction of police personnel, damaging public property and disobedience to be ordered in a way announced by the public police comment.
The complainant in this case is one of the police.
The doctors also issued a march from Safdarjung Hospital to the residence of the Minister of Health Union at night.
When the police stopped them again and detained several, they put the siege of the Sarojini Nagar police station to demand the release of the detained doctors.
If a decision is not done on the expansion of Neet-PG counseling immediately, protests can increase further, the source said.
Doctors claim the health care agency throughout the country flows shortly from adequate priest labor, without entering the current academic year.
