New Delhi: At least two wall collapse incidents were reported in Delhi on Tuesday, while several lowland areas in the city were flooded with rainwater.
Officials of Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) said eight water complaints were received and 12 fallen tree incidents were reported on Tuesday.
They said the two wall collapse incidents because the rain was reported.
According to North and East Civic Body Officials, there is no waterlogging reported in their jurisdiction.
The area that witnessed waterlogging including Nangloi, A-Block at Uttam Nagar, Sangam Vihar, Dabri, Sitapuri, Dera Village near Chattarpur, Badli and Kirari, among others.
People are taken to social media to upload videos of roads that are flooded with water, markets and colonies.
A video distributed on social media shows the streets of locality in the nanglo area which is flooded.
In that video, people were seen sitting in their chairs outside their residence when the rain water entered their house.
Meanwhile, a senior PWD official said, “Very few complaints related to the water received today and they are handled by priority.”
