Delhi: Ready to uphold strange - even if needed, said Gahlot

New Delhi: When the capital continued to pant to clean air, the Delhi government was ready to apply the vehicle’s allotment scheme – even – to improve air quality if the situation deteriorated further.
“The Delhi government is always ready for a strange one.
We have started in the capital under the leadership of the Head of Minister of Arvind KeRriwal.
Now weird – even part of a multilevel action plan.
We are ready to follow him anytime,” said Minister of Transport Kailash Gahlot on Wednesday.
Gahlot urges people to use public transportation to help control the air quality that deteriorates in the capital.
The government has also sent a proposal to Delhi disaster management authorities to allow passengers to stand in public transportation.
Because of the Pandemic Covid-19, no passengers stand on public transportation to maintain social distance.
The Minister also appealed to neighboring countries to act seriously and take concrete steps to check pollution.
The air quality of Delhi is currently floating in the “very bad” category.
After the latest commission order for air quality management for NCR and a side by side, the AAP government has implemented many steps to overcome air pollution.
The Commission has directed that trucks carrying goods that are not important should not be allowed to enter the capital until November 21.
The strange scheme has even been applied in the capital several times in recent years to reduce vehicle congestion on the road.
In odd days, only odd numbered vehicles are permitted to ply and, even days, even numbered vehicles can be used.
This forces people to carpool or use a public transportation system, which leads to lower emissions.
However, because of the pandemic, which requires social distance, carpooling is now a challenging idea.
