New Delhi: Delhi did not report death because Covid-19 for the fourth day in a row on Saturday while the number of new infections was 55 with a 0.08 percent participant, according to the data distributed by the City Health Department.
This is also the 23rd time since the beginning of the second wave of pandemics in the national capital of zero fatality has been reported in a day.
On March 2 this year, the national capital has reported zero death due to a virus.
On that day, the number of new infections reached 217 and the level of participation was 0.33 percent.
The second wave swept the city during April-May.
On Saturday, 55 new cases were recorded as the level of participation increased to 0.08 percent, while there was no death because of Covid-19, according to the latest bulletin.
New cases took the calculation of national capital infections to 14,37,929.
A total of 70,303 tests – 48,510 RT-PCR tests and 21,793 antigen tests are fast – done daily ago, said Bulletin.
On Friday, 35 new cases were recorded as the level of participants reached 0.05 percent, according to official figures.
On Thursday, the number of daily cases reached 39 with a 0.06 percent participant.
The toll of death from Koronavirus infection in Delhi reached 25,082 on Tuesday.
National capital has not reported death due to Coronavirus since then.
