New Delhi: Delhi on Monday reported 5,760 new Covid cases and 30 deaths, while the level of participants fell to 11.79 percent, according to data distributed by the Ministry of Health.
The health bulletin showed 48,844 Covid tests carried out in the capital’s previous day compared to 69.022 on Saturday.
The number of everyday cases in Delhi has declined after touching a record high of 28,867 on January 13.
Delhi on Sunday reported 9,197 cases of covid with 13.32 percent participation and 34 deaths from infection.
It only took 10 days to drop under 10,000-mark.
The capital on Saturday recorded 45 deaths due to Covid, the highest since June 5, and 11,486 cases with a 16.36 percent participant level.
On Friday, the city recorded 10,756 cases with 18.04 percent participant and 38 deaths.
As many as 543 people surrendered to Covid in the National Capital so far in January.
