New Delhi: Delhi reported the highest number of crimes against foreigners last year, according to the National Crime Record Bureau.

In 2020, Delhi reported 62 cases of crime against foreigners, a decline from 123 cases reported in 2019 and 189 in 2018.

This figure is also a decline from the previous two years.
In 2019, 264 foreigners were ordered for various crimes and 203 in 2018.
Chargesheets were submitted at 98% of these cases.
“Most foreigners who are illegally arrested live in India and are ordered under relevant legal provisions, while many are arrested under narcotics drugs and psychotropic substances acting,” said a police officer.
“Other crimes include cheating people online, murder, and other violations.
