New Delhi: A retired 65-year-old retired person was killed against the offer of car piracy in Locality Rohini Northwest Delhi on Thursday night.
The police have arrested one accused while others are teenagers.
The police said both planned to steal a car for a joyride.
Seeing an old man by car, they assume he won’t fight.
The victim was identified as Ramesh Chandra Rana, who retired from the government school and lived with his family in the Rohini 11 sector.
When driving home at around 11pm, the shutter went down to relieve himself when the defendant threatened him and grabbed the car key.
They will leave when the shutter grabs the driver by the collar and will not release it.

When receiving a call from pedestrians, the police took the shutter to the hospital where he gave up on an injury.

A pine was registered at the Katju police station and several teams formed to arrest the perpetrators, DCP (Rohini) said Pranaav Tayal.
During the investigation, the police obtained and analyzed the recording of a closed circuit television camera (CCTV) which was close to the crime scene.
Records from the camera on the route taken by criminals were also studied.
The car was found on Friday in the Shahbad dairy area when the youth became afraid and left him in an isolated place before running away on foot.
Meanwhile, the police identified alleged criminals through technical investigations based on prospects.
RAID was done and one of them was arrested from the Delhi area.
The man who was arrested was identified as Kapil Tiwari (27), a resident of Sector 11 in Rohini.
He was previously involved in criminal cases including vehicle theft.
The defendant was drunk at the time of crime, police said.
“He revealed that his aide, teenager, was also involved in car hijacking.
We found teenagers on Friday.
He was arrested in another case,” said an officer.
Officers added that teenagers will be interviewed after taking permission from the Justice Justice (JJ) board.
The police claimed that the defendant had turned on a campfire near the crime scene and sat inimart.
They saw the old man roaming the area.
“They watched the car and decided to steal it.
The victim was hung on one of the window panels and dragged for five to 10 meters before falling on the road,” the officer said.
One of the defendants told the police that they took a vehicle for the joyride.
One motorcycle also recovered from his ownership.
“His testimony is being verified,” the officer said.
