New Delhi: After the next two days of the raid at the New Delhi train station, the Delhi government drug control department has seized injection of animal oxytocin worth around Rs 43 Lakh.
Medications are suspected of quality and samples that are doubtful have been sent for the test, the department said.
According to government officials, the Department of Intelligence cells get ownership of the supply of veterinary oxytocin injections from Bihar style to the Godown inward parcel at the station.
On January 31, the drug supervisory team examined failed on the side of the ajmeri gate and seized around 2 lakh injection.
Another Raid was carried out on Wednesday and a bottle worth RS 22 Lakh was confiscated.
According to a statement, “Parcel supervisor said the consignment would be sent to Yogender Kumar and Mohan Kumar, but they did not appear.” Further investigation is to establish a supply chain of these drugs, he added.
