New Delhi: Delhi has emerged as a model of government, the Chairman of Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday announced the launch of the ‘Dishbhakti’ curriculum in government schools from the housing class from October 2.
Delhi government schools will begin teaching the ‘Dishbhakti’ curriculum from September 27 as a tribute to Freedom Fighter Bhagat Singh, he said.
Safe! You have managed to throw your votelogin to see results “this will be an activity-based course where school children will be taught how to contribute to the development of the state and release their ‘solar’ and are ready to sacrifice them to live for the nation,” Kejriwal said.
“We teach subjects to students but they have never been taught to Desthbhakti.
Now they will learn the essence of patriotism.
I urge parents to talk to their children after they return to their homes to talk about Dishbhakti,” he added.
While announcing that Delhi will have his own education council, he said children in government schools will have access to the level of international education since the Delhi School Education Council signed a pact with the last Baccalaureate last week.
Delhi will have a sainik school, something that has not had before, and preparation is also being made to start the Delhi Armed Forces Training Academy to prepare students for the armed forces, Kejriwal said.
In his independence day’s speech at the Delhi Secretariat, Kejriwal gave respect to freedom fighters and to doctors, nurses and paramedics who lost their lives when serving people during the Pandemic Coronavirus.
Listing various initiatives and government programs, he said, “Delhi has emerged as a victim of governance and initials being discussed and adopted not only in India but all over the world.”
Correctly saluted to the forefront workers who gave their lives during a pandemic and said the government gave Rs 1 to interprest their families as a gesture of gratitude and respect them and notify them that they were not alone.
He said the government would start yoga classes in the park, community space and other places throughout the city from October 2.
If 40-50 people in the housing colony are advancing, the Delhi government will give them yoga instructors, he added.
The minister’s chairman thanked the Olympic medalist and said the country had to prepare to win 70 medals next time.
He invited a sportsman to join the University of Sports Delhi.
Kejriwal said Delhi also worked to host the Olympics in the city after 2047.
Citing the vision of his government about Delhi in 2047, Kejriwal said the city per capita income must be the same as Singapore and added that it could be achieved if the government and people worked together.
He also called people to make the best and most habitable Delhi and Indian countries in the world in the world in 2047.
