Delhi: Seven Years Dwarka Waiting for Hospital to End

NEW DELHI: In some good news for residents of Dwarka and the surrounding area, the government of Delhi Indira Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, construction of which began in 2014, is likely to be thrown open to the public in September.

Previously planned hospital complex on an area of ​​15 acres, but the place was later expanded to more than 24 hectares.
Apart from the three main parts, namely emergency care departments and hospital wards, there are also plans to start a medical college in the complex.

While the beds are planned all oxygen, extra bed will be provided with an oxygen concentrator.
The physical infrastructure is almost ready for the last few months.
However, finding adequate health professionals and other workers to manage a super specialty hospitals have been challenges, the sources said.
In a circular letter issued by the end of last year, the health department of Delhi government said it intended to send a staff willing at three government hospitals new Delhi in Burari, Ambedkar Nagar and Dwarka and demand are invited from doctors, nurses and paramedics to posts in the medical centers new , Last year, the Delhi government inaugurates 700-bed hospital in Burari and 600-bedded hospital in Ambedkar Nagar.
