Delhi shivered on ‘severe cold days’, more advanced

New Delhi: Delhi shivered under the condition of “severe cold day” in several places and “cold days” in a break on Monday because the temperature of the day remains below 15 degrees Celsius, with cold winds to the cold northern sunshine and clouds .
Safdarjung saw the first severe cold day of the season as the maximum dipped in 14.8 degrees Celsius, seven notches below normal.
Similar conditions are expected for the next two-three days while the decline in the night temperature after January 27 is likely because Delhies are in for cold spells to almost the end of the month.

The visibility in Safdarjung is 800 meters from 5.30 am to 7:30 a.m.
Delhi’s air quality, meanwhile, continues to remain in the “poor” category with an overall air quality index (AQI) of 241.

AQI is likely to remain in the “poor” category on Tuesday and the Republican Day because the impact of Western disturbances has been reduced.
