New Delhi: Health Minister Delhi Satyendar Jain on Sunday said that the government was conducting a Covid-19 test three times more than needed by the Indian Medical Research Board and notifying that the city would likely report nearly 17,000 Covid-19 cases when this .

Jain welcomed the guideline by ICMR who said that anyone who had made contact with Covid-infected patients did not need to take the Covid-19 test unless the person was in the ‘high-risk’ category based on age or comorbidity.
He said people who were sick were all tested.

Those who are sick, are all being tested,” he said.

The daily level of peposititivity is 16.28 percent.
