“Asked about the number of Covid-19 testing throughout the city, the Minister of Health said that nearly 60,000 to 1 Lakh test was being carried out every day for the past month.
“There were around 67,000 tests conducted yesterday.
I want to explain that a little test does not mean a lack of cases.
Light contact cases, without symptoms, or high-risk, everyone is tested.

Jain welcomed the guideline by ICMR who said that anyone who had made contact with Covid-infected patients did not need to take the Covid-19 test unless the person was in the ‘high-risk’ category based on age or comorbidity.
He said people who were sick were all tested.

Those who are sick, are all being tested,” he said.
The Minister of Health further informs that receipts in hospitals are stagnant and are expected that the level of prospitibility will begin to decline over time.

Meanwhile, Delhi recorded a decline in the new Covid-19 case for the second consecutive day on Saturday with 20,718 cases of fresh infections reported in the national capital at the 30.64 percent pepony level which was the highest after May 1 last year.
