Delhi: The 72-year-old woman was killed by a couple who owed RS 1L

New Delhi: A 72-year-old woman was killed at her home in Dwarka and her body was dumped in the Najafgarh channel by a couple who allegedly owed the money, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as kavita.
The man who was accused of being identified as Anil Arya, an event manager and his wife as Tanu.
They are thirties.
The woman lived with her son and his wife.
The murder occurred when they went out of town.
The woman was reported missing on July 7.
The police began investigating after receiving complaints and found during the spot question that the couple who lived in the neighborhood were also gone.
Registered kidnapping cases and hunting initiated.
The couple was then traced based on technical supervision.
The pair broke down during interrogation and revealed that they had taken a one-lakh RS loan during the Covid-19 pandemic but could not return money.
Lately, old women have begun asking them to return the money and threaten to file a complaint.
Inspired by the TV series, the defendant’s couple allegedly hatched the plot to eliminate the woman.
They went to his house in the Garden Mohan area with the pretext of returning money.
Arriving there, they caught and strangled him to death.
The defendant’s couple then put his body into the bag and put it in the boot of their car.
They went to the Najafgarh canal and threw away there.
The police have restored the body in the example of the accused couples who have been ordered for violations, including kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, murder and destruction of evidence.
The aged woman’s body will be handed over to the family after an autopsy.
While a source said the body was found hacked into three parts, the police did not confirm these reports.
Last week, a relative had killed a woman and her son at Uttam Nagar because he owed them at Rs 50,000.
A lanquage and his colleagues killed an old woman in Vasant Vihar for money last week too.
A families took hostage and their homes were looted by robbers at Uttam Nagar recently.
