NEW DELHI: The National Capital recorded 76 fresh Covid cases and one death on Saturday, while the level of peposititives slipped to 0.09%.
Prior to this, Delhi has recorded a daily fatality number of one more than three months ago on March 21.
Fatality Saturday pushed the death toll in the city to 25,012.
On Tuesday, Delhi reported 79 Covid cases and four deaths.
A day later, 93 cases and four deaths were recorded, according to official figures.
On Friday, the calculation of daily infections was 81 and three deaths were recorded.
The level of city infection, which has reached 36% in the last week of April, has fallen below 0.1% now.
Covid bed residence was also sharply reduced during the past month.
Delhi has a total of 13,931 covid beds which, data shows, only around 451 is occupied now.
However, given the third potential wave, the government has decided to keep the bed provided for Covid management.
On Friday, DDMA issued a color-coded response action plan where the sidewalk would be implemented according to the severity of the Covid-19 situation to handle the possibility of the third wave.
The state government has also started two genome sequencing laboratories in LNJP and ILBS to detect newer variants.
