New Delhi: A woman died after being stabbed many times suspected by a contract killer hired by her husband in Malviya Nagar Delhi Selatan.
The police have arrested the husband and the others were accused.
The police received a PCR call from the hospital in Sheikh Sarai about a woman who was brought by her husband who had been stabbed to death.
Benita Mary Jaiker, DCP (south), revealed that the woman’s husband, Naveen Kumar Gullaiya, told them that on Thursday at around 2:30 p.m., he went to the doctor with his son, leaving his wife alone at home.
“He said that after a visit to the doctor, they both went shopping.
After leaving his son at a Barbershop, he went to his office in the Kalkaji,” Jaiker said.
According to DCP, Gullaiya called an employee to bring his son home after his hair.
“At around 4:45 a.m., the employee called back to tell Gullaiya that his wife lay in a pool of blood in the living room,” Jaiker said.
He got home and took his wife to the hospital.
A team led by Kumar Kant Mishra, Sho (Malviya Nagar), began to pursue this case.
CCTV’s footage showed two men entering the woman’s house.
Speeding up phone calls that are often done by Gullaiya to a woman who lives in Govindpuri on the day of murder, the police traced Rahul’s caller.
He was questioned and he claimed his involvement in crime.
Then, Sonu was also captured from Govindpuri.
Gullaiya befriends another woman for the past year and half.
When his wife learned about this four months ago, there was a constant fight between the couple.
“He often checks its location through video calls,” Jaiker said.
This made the man angry so he decided to get rid of his wife.
He hired a rahul for the assignment, promising him Rs 5 lakh after murder.
Gullaiya sent the location of his house.
As planned, the man left his wife at home on Thursday.
While leaving the house, he locked the main gate and gave a key to Rahul, who entered the house with his colleagues, Sonu and Chandu, and killed the woman.
