New Delhi: Three days after a doctor a doctor targeted by Snatchers at Shalimar Bagh, the police on Friday arrested three people from separate parts in Northwest Delhi.
The defendant was identified as Ravi (30), Monu (30) and Tangwel (25).
Everything lives in Wazirpur.
Two more people, Gagan (38) and Mohammad Akhlaq (20), were arrested for buying robbed items.
On January 26, a 47-year-old doctor jogged in the park near the ad block when the three were accused of attacking him.
One of them strangled his neck while the other two grabbed ornaments and cellphones from him.
DCP (North-West) Usha Rangnani said they arrested Ravi from the park near Kanhaiya Nagar Metro Station.
He was a drug addict and recently released from prison.
Two other accused of being arrested from the Wazirpur area.
“After robbing the woman, they sold a gold chain and a diamond ring,” the officer said.
The case below section 392 (penalty for robbery) and 34 (actions taken by several people in the continuation of IPC’s general intentions) are registered at the Shalimar Bagh Police Station.
