Delhi tries to reach the target of 100% VAX in the middle of up and down

New Delhi: When the year which witnessed the second wave of Covid-19 which was destroyed in the midst of increasing concerns over the Omicron variant of the Coronavirus novel, experts believe that vaccination is still the best bet on disease.

While it reached a high dose of nearly 11 lakh in a week between June 26 and July 2 before DIP, the highest of all time 11.6 Lakh vaccination was recorded between 18 and September 24.
More than 2 lakh people were vaccinated in a day on September 25 and 27, but the daily number dipped again and remained under 1 dose of lakh for most of November.
Drive, however, gained speed at the end of November and the average in December remained more than 1 lakh a day.
The latest government serological survey conducted in September 2021 showed that 97% of Delhi’s population had antibodies against Covid-19, which were significantly higher than 22.8% seroprevalence seen in the first survey in June 2020.
Among those who have received one The dosage vaccine during the sixth survey, almost 95% was sero-positive, compared with 82% of the two minors and adult populations were not vaccinated.
The second sero survey in August 2020 revealed 29.1% seroprevalence, which slumped to 25.1% in September.
At 25.5%, it showed a marginal increase in October 2020, but more than doubled to 56.1% during the fifth survey in January 2021.
The total number of vaccine doses provided in Delhi approached 2.6 crores, the highest among all Metro City, India.
But Mumbai has fully vaccinated more than 80% of the population which qualified as almost 73% in the capital.
