New Delhi: A man died and his friend was injured after they were attacked by a group of people in the Sangam region of South Delhi Vihar recently.
The police have arrested one of the defendants.
The previous case was registered on Monday.
“Jatin with his friend returned to Sangam Vihar on Monday (between 2am and 3am).
A group of people also passed from the same road.
Suddenly, the group began to attack the duo with boxing and stone,” said an officer.
Both were dragged on the road and went abandoned in the sewer.
The victims then rushed to the hospital by their relatives.
Rs 3,000 lost from the pocket of one of the victims.
“Justin surrendered to injury and the PANKAJ runs out after treatment,” said an officer, added that they suspected robbery for the reason behind the incident still happened.
The man who was arrested was identified as Ramjan Ali, a resident of Sangam Vihar.
Deputy Deputy Police Commissioner (South) M Harsha Vardhan said they made an effort to accuse others.
In another case, two people were arrested in an effort to kill a man in the TIGRI area.
