Delhi: Two more is held for Kasturaba Nagar Assault

New Delhi: Delhi police on Sunday said they had arrested two more in connection with cases of sexual violence from a 21-year-old woman in Kasturba Nagar on January 26.
The police identified the defendant as a resident of Kastesh (43), a resident of Kastesh Nagar.
His wife and two daughters were arrested and were in terms of justice.
“One Darshan Singh was also arrested.
He is the owner of the autorickshaw used to kidnap the victim of Karkardoma,” the officer said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) R Sathiyasundaram said that so far, 20 people have been arrested in this case.
“A total of 16 adults and four teenagers have been arrested,” he said.
On January 26, the woman was kidnapped and limited to a room, beaten and sexually attacked by a group of men and women in Kasturba Nagar.
The victim in his complaint told the police that he was kidnapped from Karkardooma Village.
The defendant took him to Kasturba Nagar, where he was sexually attacked, his hair was cut and he was forced to wear sandal bouquets.
