Delhi University to declare the first cutoff on October 1

New Delhi: Candidates must wait until October to get the idea of ​​their chances of securing undergraduate places at Delhi University.
The Chairperson of his reception committee confirmed on Tuesday that DU would release the first cutoff list for undergraduate courses in October 1.
However, there is no more correction that will be permitted in the form of registration.
Rajeev Gupta, chairman of the committee, said, “1 October has been chosen as the first cutoff date because we want to accommodate all students who appear for repairs, the compartment exam at a higher secondary level.
Because CBSE is doing a physical exam, we also want to provide opportunities The student.
“The CBSE test ended on September 16 and DU hoped that the results would be stated on October 1.
The Board has enabled students who are not happy with the results of the online exam to sit for physical examinations.
When reopening the portal, Gupta said, “because the UG candidate is mostly filling out the form under the supervision of parents, such a correction problem does not seem to exist.” However, St Stephen’s College, a minority institute under DU, has stated its first list.
Candidates who qualify will be called for interviews.
However, universities, have not released the acceptance schedule.
The highest cutoff is for the economy (H) at 99.5%.
For other universities and around 70,000 seats, Cutoff also tends to remain high.
“St Stephen College has set high benchmarks, so at least in the first list, Cutoff will remain high,” said a principal.
Cutoff was decided based on the number of applications and past experiences.
This year, more than 2 Lakh candidates have been applied.
