New Delhi: In the last two days, five hardened criminals had been arrested after shooting with the police as part of a new crackdown in street villains.
The injured criminals are currently undergoing treatment.
On Thursday night, shots occurred between police from the northern range of the northern cell Delhi and the famous criminal, Satish.
Wanted in more than 20 cases of grabbing and robbery, he was cornered in Rohini around 6 pm where he began shooting to the police.
In burning replies, he suffered a bullet injury at his feet.
He shifted to the hospital and would be arrested after exiting, said DCP Sanjeev Yadav.
In another operation on Tuesday, two famous criminals, Sazee and Tajim Saifi, were arrested after a shootout near the Karni Singh shooting range in Prahladpur.
“Two pistols and five live cartridges were confiscated from them, despite the four shells of the place.
The defendant was involved in cases of seizing, robbery, theft, attempts of murder and under ACT Arms in Delhi-NCR,” said Yadav.
The third operation occurred near Sector 36 in Rohini where a criminal named Deepak and his colleagues, who rode a bicycle, was stopped by the police.
They tried to shoot and escape, but Deepak was shot in his left foot by returning a shot by the police and controlled.
His colleague, however, managed to escape.
At the fourth meeting, a famous explorer, Pradeep Gurri, was arrested by police from a special south cell special.
Involved in more than 25 robbery cases, theft, and connection, Gurri has recently been ordered under McOCA.
The police got a tip-off that he would approach the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rohini around 11pm on his white Apache bike.
After he was seen by the informant and intercepted by the police, he tried to shoot and escape.
In the exchange of fire, he suffered a gunshot injury and was taken to the hospital.
The crackdown was carried out by the team led by DCP Yadav and formed under ACC Sanjay Dutt and Jasbir Singh to catch street criminals.
“To curb street crime, Delhi’s police are on his legs to examine bikers at the main points, including a crime hotspot.
Special cells have been specifically assigned to handle criminals who use a gun that commit road crimes,” Yadav said.
Bike-Borne’s armed snatcher gangs have released terror in some parts of Delhi by targeting women and pedestrians.
In many cases recently, criminals have fired victims at any smallness.
