New Delhi: A 52-year-old woman allegedly killed by her husband in Saket Southern Delhi on Friday night.
The police said the couple often argued above the house, whose husband wanted to sell his wife’s protest.
It is very likely that the argument caused the murder, police officer said.
The police got a call from Kapil Pandey, 42, a nephew of charges, Chander Mohan Pandey, 57, who reported that his uncle killed his wife, Shashi Lata Pandey.
The police team found the woman lying on the floor of the room on the first floor of the house.
He did not have a sign of an injury seen on his body.
Kapil, who lives on the ground floor of the same building as his family, told the police that his aunt called Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, at around 6 pm on Friday said he knew that Chander Mohan and Shashi experienced a heated argument.
“He asked the capil to go and check,” police said.
The clerk said that when Kapil knocked on the door, his uncle opened it.
“Kapil told us his clothes had blood stains.
He also had a piece on the left side of his neck.
He then asked his niece to call the police and told them about death,” the officer said.
Benita Mary Jaiker, DCP (south), said, “Kapil Pandey is called an ambulance.
While the woman was declared dead, Chander Mohan shifted to Max Hospital and was in treatment.
His statement had not been recorded because he was not medically healthy.” The case has been registered at Under part 302 of Indian Criminal Code for murder and investigations are underway.
Jaiker said the crime and forensic team checked the place and found a blood-stained kitchen knife in the living room.
However, the police have not set a sequence of incidents.
“Because the woman did not have an injury in her body, chances were she was strangled by her husband.
The man might have hurt himself when trying to attack him or maybe hurt during a fight,” said an officer.
During the probe.
, the police learned about problems related to home.
“While the man wants to sell it, his wife wants to live in,” the officer said.
Chander Mohan is a front office executive at a hotel in Connaught Place but unemployed for the past two years, police said.
