New Delhi: A 30-year-old woman strangled by her lover and her body was dumped in a wooded area in South Delhi, Maidan Garhi on Sunday night.
The accusation told his friend to call the police and notify them about murder after cooking a story.
The main defendant, Anuj Kumar (22), began living with the victim after his girlfriend went to his hometown during the Kuncian.
When he returned, he wanted to get rid of his new boyfriend, so he hatched plans with his friends to kill him.
He stood guards while his two friends strangled him.
DCP (South) Atul Thakur said the three were accused, Kumar, Ramzan Khan (32) and Naushad (21) had been arrested.
“Anuj was related to the victim about two years ago.
He married his house from his home at Uttam Nagar with Ramzan’s help.
They began to live together and also married in a temple.” Kumar also established a relationship with another girl, who pressed it to get married.
Kumar told Ramzan and Naushad and the trio hatched the conspiracy to kill the victim.
“Naushad and Kumar took the victim to the forest where Ramzan was present.
They then strangled him and left the body there.
Then, Ramzan called PCR stating that he was drinking in the forest when he saw a woman being carried by two men on a motorcycle, which Then kill him, “said Thakur.
An investigation revealed that the victim came on a motorcycle black with two men from Gaushala Road.
Then, efforts are made to identify the body, but there are no instructions found.
CCTV’s footage showed two suspects took him on a Black Splendor motorcycle.
The man called the police also looks on foot towards the place.
Then, when the contradiction was considered in a caller statement, Ramzan, he was interrogated at length.
His cellphone was also checked.
He finally admitted that he knew the deceased.
He revealed that he was a live-in partner and maybe Kumar’s wife, who lived in Fatehpur.
The motorcycle used in crime and Dupatta which with him was strangled was confiscated.
