New Delhi: Two women have been arrested for allegedly attacking the official team that issued Challans for Covid’s violations on Monday.
The police said the incident video became a viral, after the action was taken.
The battle broke after officials stopped one woman because she didn’t wear a mask.
The police said, Anand, a librarian posted in senior government high school in Tikri Kalan and is currently attached to the HR office, Punjabi Bagh, reported that on August 6, he along with a teacher, Ajmer Singh and civil defense staff were in Covid.

“A woman in a two-wheeled vehicle was stopped because she did not wear a mask and was asked to pay Rs 2,000 Challan.
He instead of paying, calling his employer and they attacked the team,” said DCP (outside) Parvinder Singh.
Based on complaints, a case is registered for the attack, blocking public servants to carry out duties and violate DDMA guidelines among other parts.
