New Delhi: The water level of Yamuna in Wazirabad Barrage once again reached a normal level of 674.4 feet as 16,000 cusecs of water released by Haryana from Hathnikund the series had reached Delhi.
A senior DJB official said all water treatment plants now operate at full capacity and ordinary water supply will continue.
Previously, a shortage of 100-120 million gallons per day (MGD) had been reported because the Chandrawal Water Treatment Plant, Wazirabad and Okhla (WTP) operated under their capacity.

A week ago, the pool level has reached 667.6 feet due to supply affected by parts of Delhi Cantonment, South, Central, West and North Delhi.
Production at Chandrawal WTP has dropped from 90 to 55 MGD, in Wazirabad from 135 to 80 mgd, and at Okhla from 20 to 15 mgd.
“Daily production in this plant has dropped from 245 to 150 mgd.
We have now continued the full supply of them,” the official said.
DJB has submitted a petition at the Supreme Court.
Furthermore, 16,000 cusecs (8,888 million gallons) were released in Yamuna from Barrage Hathnikund on Tuesday.
The utility manages around 14,500 kilometers of pipes to supply water and provide sewerage services to around 20 million Delhi.
DJB has a capacity of producing 935 mgd water through nine WTPS, Ranney Wells and TubeWells.
While the Bhagirathi factory produces 108 mgd drinking water, Sonia Vihar WTP cleans 140 mgd under normal circumstances.
Both plants are fed raw water from the upper canal.
The remaining raw water appears mainly through Yamuna, the DSB and CLC Munak Canal Canal, in addition to subsurface sources.
“The hungry for the river and Delhi people will soon be extinguished.
DJB plants will be able to function at the optimal capacity to provide clean drinking water to all households.
WTP works with reduced capacity because the raw water capital is not released by Haryana,” Chadha said.
