New Delhi: Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced that the Delhi government would provide free online yoga and pranayama lessons to Covid-19 patients recovering in house isolation.
Kejriwal said the classes would be held in batch 15, with sufficient instructors to care for 40,000 patients.
CM said that while the number of cases of Covid-19 increased, several hospital beds were occupied relatively and most of the patients were in house isolation.
He added yoga and pranayama lessons will help in the recovery of this patient.
“The Covid case is growing rapidly throughout the country.
Delhi also witnessed an increase, but we have noticed that the spread of the virus has slowed.
I hope this trend will continue for the near future and the spread of Covid reduced,” Kejriwal said during a digital press direction, adding that Covid patients At present it occupies 1,500-2,000 hospital beds and the rest in house isolation.
“To help patients recover at home, the Delhi government has advanced the only program,” he said.
Kejriwal said the Delhi government began a special online yoga class for all in house isolation.
“We have prepared a large instructor team for this, which has been given special training in asanas and practice related to Covid recovery,” he said.
“I will not claim that they offer full protection against viruses, but they must help someone overcome them and recover more efficiently,” he said.
The registration link will be sent to all patients in house isolation to choose slots when the class starts from Wednesday.
Kejriwal said there would be five grade hours from 6am to 11 in the morning, and three grade hours from 4pm to 19:00.
