New Delhi: In the next few days, those who apply for SIMs in Delhi will be able to provide an online test and get an electronic license without visiting RTO.
The first-of-own facility in this country is likely to be launched by the Head of Minister of Arvind Kejriwal at the beginning of next week, said the source in the Department of Transportation.
Software Prepared by the National Informatics Center (NIC) and current back-end infrastructure in the testing phase.
The Delhi government has added new facial recognition software to ensure only the original candidate appears for testing.
From February 18 this year, the Department of Transportation has provided 12 of the most difficult transaction services online – also called “faceless services”.
License E, which will apply for six months, is part of the next phase of this service.
This department aims to limit its physical presence to only automatic driving test trects in the future.
Applicants must first register on the Department’s website and get an appointment to take the test.
There will be an online tutorial, which they must take before the test.
LEARNER 10-minute license test will have objective type questions, where the applicant needs to print at least six out of ten.
After this, the color blindness test will be done.
After the applicant cleanses it, an electronic license will be issued.
The Department’s website will have a web link specifically for e-license services and all information about costs, minimum age, feasibility, required documents, etc.
Will be available on it, besides frequently asked questions, and bank questions with quizzes.
While NIC software is prepared in June itself, the government insists that facial recognition components must be part of the system to ensure only the original applicants appear for the test.
Bank Questions and Quiz will ensure learning applicants about rules during student license tests because permanent driving tests are skills tests.
The test will check their knowledge about road signage and other traffic rules.
