New Delhi: The capital wakes up to a soothing, bright morning on Sunday with a bright sky and a little minimum temperature increase.
The Meteorology Department said the city could continue to enjoy a similar morning for the next three days.
The weather department has expected further mercury increase on Monday, while overrising the possibility of cold waves or cold days.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) states that the maximum temperature at Delhi’s basic weather station, Safdarjung, is 22.2 degrees Celsius, the average season, against 22.4 degrees the day before.
The minimum temperature is recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius, the title below the season average, against 5.4 degrees on Saturday.
“Daytime Mercury will rise because the sky is bright, which leads to good sunlight on Monday.
The city can also see Gusty winds reach up to 25-30 kmps on Monday,” said IMD.
Maximum and minimum temperature on Monday tends to float around 23 and 8 degrees Celsius.
Because of the approaching Western disorder, the city may experience rainfall in the first week of February.

The sky will remain clear with several fog in the morning.
The daytime temperatures can increase in the next two days,” said IMD.
Meanwhile, air quality deteriorates in the “poor” category.
On Sunday, the air quality index (AQI), on a scale of 0 to 500, was recorded at 278 against 251 the day before.
