Gurugram: A 30-year-old man who works for the food delivery application was shot dead when he was on his way to the command on REWARI on Sunday night.
The police suspect the offer of robbery because of the wallet and the Mahendra Singh phone disappeared.
Around 10pm on Sunday, Singh just reached Ansal City in Sector 19 when he was attacked by unknown attackers.
He suffered bullet wounds in the stomach.
The two people passed on the scooter, said the police, took Singh to the nearest hospital.
From there, he was referred to the Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi when his condition deteriorated.
He gave up on a bullet injury that night.
The police said the team who checked the place near Ansal Township found several empty bullet shells there.
Initially from the village of Hudithal Palwal, Singh had moved to REWARI with his 10-year-old wife and son with hopes of a better chance two years ago.
Here, he began working as an executive of food delivery.
