Nagpur: Amravati, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gadchiroli and Yavatmal are among seven districts in Maharashtra where a total of 27 cases of Delta + Covid-19 variants have been confirmed, the State Health Department.
Because the results of the genome sequencing out on Monday, six Delta + cases were confirmed in Amravati, considered a place where the Delta variant of Covid-19 came from.
Five samples from Nagpur, six of Gadchiroli, three of Yavatmal and one of Bhandara were also confirmed as a Delta + case.
Now, Wardha, Washim and Buldhana are three districts in Vidarbha where the Delta + case has not been confirmed.
During the results last week, cases were found in Gondia, Akola and Chandrapur.
Eight of the 11 districts in Vidarbha have now confirmed the existence of the Delta + variant.
Initially, the authorities in Bhandara and Nagpur told that all patients whose samples were sent for genome sequencing, including Delta + Case confirmed Monday, had recovered.
However, the authorities now take more information about these patients and their contact history.
Akola, Chandrapur, and Gondia – where Delta + cases detected last week – confirm that the patient has recovered and is fine.

Overall, Vidarbha reported 13 new cases and 34 recovery on Monday.

The recovery rate is 98%, which is still better than the average state and national.
Vidarbha reported no death for the third day in a row on Monday, thus Covid victims remained unchanged at 21,355 and case fatality cases of 1.9%.
Now, only 270 patients underwent treatment at Vidarbha, and the majority of them in house isolation.
Yavatmal: There is no Covid death on Monday, keeping the told to change at 1,787.

Of the 72,832 patients detected so far, 71,036 including one on Monday has recovered.
