New Delhi: Delta Covid-19 variant continues to be a major variant that is a concern and other variants of interest or fears can now be ignored in the order of data from India, said the SARS-COV-2 Indian Genomic Consortium (Insacog).
Insacog, in a bulletin, said there were no changes in the global scenario.
“Delta, including B.1.617.2 (AY) and ay.x sublelinages, continues to become the main VOC globally.
In accordance with the latest WHO updates, Delta has issued other variants in most countries and now there is a decrease in the prevalence of other variants.
