Noida: The first session of Noida Aapke Dwar (Noida in front of your door) was held in Sarfabad on Tuesday and during interaction with officials, most villagers complained about the lack of waste networks in the area.
The senior official team from the Noida Authority, led by the Head of General Manager Rajeev Tyagi, has visited the area and 36 unique complaints have been registered.
Most complaints (14) have been forwarded to the water and waste management department, officials said.
Om Prakash’s local resident said: “Every time it rains, the area is flooded.
The waste line has not been placed here.” However, according to the official, the tender has been issued for the job.
“We find out what caused a delay.
A team is looking at this,” said Tyagi.
During the interaction, the villagers also said they wanted better facilities in local cremation, renovation of Peer Baba land, public toilets in the area and street lights to be repaired.
“We will review progress in Sarfabad on August 10,” said an official.
