New Delhi: Sansad TV, a combined entity TV channel Lok Saba and Rajya Sabha launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Venkaah Vice President Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, PM Modi described the launch of Sansad TV as a new chapter in the history of Indian democracy and added that the country received communication media and dialogue which would be a new voice of the state democratic system.
Emphasizing that the launch of the Sansad TV coincides with the day of international democracy, Modi said, “Democracy for India is not just a system, it is an idea.
Democracy in India is not just a constitutional structure, but it is a spirit..
Democracy in India is not just a collection of constitutional flows, It is our life.
“PM also said he hoped that Sansad TV, through his programming, would be able to make grassroots connected from parliament to the Pancrayat level.
Vice President Venkaiiah Naidu emphasized the need to strengthen parliamentary democracy, and for meaningful debates echo the aspirations of the community in the legislature.
“Hard disturbing noise may not sink the voice of people.
The debate must strengthen worries, clarify doubts and debate together.
