New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday directed the authorities to start within two weeks of demolition of twin towers of the twin shop Emertty Majtty Major Ltd in Noida.
The bench consisting of Judge D Y Chandrachud and Surya Kant also directed CEO Noida to hold a meeting within 72 hours where all the agents concerned will be present.
“The CEO of Noida will take all the necessary steps to observe the direction of this court, the demolition work will begin no later than two weeks since this order,” Bench said.
On January 12, the court over attracted the builder because he did not obey his order to destroy the 40-storey slipped tower in the 93 Noida sector and warned that the director would be sent to prison for “playing around with court”.
On August 31 last year, the Top Court had ordered the demolition of a 40-store Softech Tower Tower which was being built within three months for violating the norms of building “collusion with Noida officials”, holding that illegal construction must be handled strictly to be handled ensuring compliance with legal rules.
It has directed that the entire number of home buyers returned with interest of 12 percent from the time of booking and RWA zamrud court projects paid Hospital 2 Crore for harassment caused by the construction of twin towers, which will have blocked sunshine and fresh air to residents of existing housing projects.
