Noida: With 14 new cases in the last 24 hours, cases of dengue fever in the district crosses 500 mark on Saturday and stands at 509.
There are 68 active cases now officially.
Areas in urban villages such as Chhalera, Conscious, Surajpur and Nithari are one of the top contributors for dengue cases.
However, private hospitals and the government said that cases are still very high and new cases come every day.
Most private hospitals have run out of beds and now use beds stored for covid patients.
Most of these cases were not added to the calculation of the district because all samples were not tested by the two laboratories approved by the government.
The doctor also said that some cases of dengue and typhoid combinations were seen this year, especially in children.
Meanwhile, the health department continued with its container survey to examine stagnant water around the residential area.
“We hope that people continue to drain fresh water and do not make water stagnant at home.
Thermocol boxes are special hazards and must be emptied.
We also accept water complaints in high-rise communities and take action together with the authorities,” said Rajesh Sharma, District Malaria Officer.
There is no new scrub scrub or the case of leptospirosis that has been reported in Noida.
There are a total of five typhus scrubs and three cases of leptospirosis reported this year.
