Department of Education Wb Mulls Exam Befurcating Board

Kolkata: The State Government to play the idea of dividing academic academies into two semesters even though there was no final decision taken, Minister of Education Bratya Basu said on Tuesday night.
The Ministry of Education has asked the West Bengal Bengal Council of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Board of higher secondary education to send their proposals about how they plan to divide the syllabus and do the exam.
Both CBSE and Cisce have decided to capture each exam into two semesters with the first semester examination after Durga Puja and the second in March next year.
Fifty percent of the syllabus will be borne in the first semester and the MCQ examination will be detained after the pujas.
The board will hold an offline or online examination in March or April next year depending on the pandemic situation.
“We have asked the West Bengal Bengal Council of secondary education and the West Bengal Council from higher secondary education to send their proposals.
Let’s see what they plan.
The final decision will be taken by them,” Basu said.
“At this point in time I can’t add anything else to him.
Nothing is resolved,” said Basu.
The source in the Ministry of Education said the preliminary proposal was received for class IX and XI.
“But that is very not perfect.
Both the Board and the Board have been instructed to send their proposals to higher and secondary and secondary,” said an official.
BiFurcating syllabus and examination into two semesters will not only help reduce the burden of syllabus in the pandemic year and an online class era but will provide teachers and boards to evaluate class X and class XII if the examination cannot be held next year because of a pandemic.
“The Committee formed to compile a formula to evaluate HS students literally struggle because they do not have a basic sign.
Hold two tests where syllabus will not overlap will help evaluate students,” said a council official.
