PANAJI: The electricity department will take the work of placing a double circuit transmission channel 110 kV from Mollem to Village Collem in Dharbandora Taluka.
This department released a list of double circuit line lines that would likely pass, and have called on objections, if any, from the public to be sent to the Executive Engineer III Division, Curti, Ponda in two months.
The rest are asked to contact the same division for more information about the lines that will pass through their land.
The double circuit line is being placed by the electricity department for a southwest train that aims to shine its lines.
The double circuit line is taken from Ponda to Collem, which must be set to set the line.
The South Western train has deposited all costs around RS 31 Crore to the electricity department for work after deciding to assign the task to the department itself, said an engineer.
The electricity department in public notification has stated that the double circuit line is likely to pass various survey numbers in Mollem and Collem including land owned by the government and forest departments, all of which are in Dharbandora Taluka.
