Bhubaneswar: The State Planning and Convergence Department has requested various departments to prepare the requirements of the main infrastructure project funds that are in the pipeline and should be completed between 2022 and 2027.
The purpose behind this step is to ensure the funding requirements for various multiyear perspective projects, which will stimulate State growth and development, said an official.
Transportation, micro, small and medium, rustic and fisheries development has been asked to submit a list of projects.
PK Development Commissioner Jena has also begun to review unwise infrastructure projects, progress is made so far and other details.
“The idea behind this exercise is to ensure funding requirements so that adequate provisions can be carried out in the annual budget.
Also, with careful planning and monitoring, steps can be taken for timely resolution from various infrastructure projects,” said a senior official.
