New Delhi: Deputy Admiral SN Ghormade will be responsible for deputy head of the Indian Navy from Deputy Admiral G Ashok Kumar who will retire on Saturday, officials said.
Deputy Admiral SN Ghormadeghormade has held allegations of the deputy head of the Integrated Defense Staff (Operations and Training) since March 8, they said.
Ghormade also served as Chief of Staff of the East Navy Command and Director General of Navy Operations.
A National Defense Academy Graduate, Ghormade was assigned to the Indian Navy on January 1, 1984.
He has held various operational appointments and staff for the past 35 years, including the commands of the Brahmaputra Missile Missiles, Nireakshak rescue submarines and Minesweeper INS Alleppey , Ghormade is also the President Director of Personnel, the Director of the Navy Plan, and the Joint Navy Director’s plan at the Navy Headquarters, in addition to the Director (Military Affairs) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
