Patna: Deputy Chief of Minister (CM) Tarkishore Prasad on Thursday released ‘manual for child budgeting in Bihar’ which has been developed by Asia Development of Institutions (ADRI) related to the Ministry of Finance and the UN Bihar Field Office.

He added, “Bihar government works earnestly to increase many girls with the help of a scheme such as ‘Kanya Uthan Yojana’.

“In Bihar Most parents think of marrying the girl as soon as he reaches the age of 14 years.
To fix this problem, the state government educates girls until they graduate.
It will also help empower girls and reduce fertility levels,” he said.
Nafisa Binti Shafique, head of the UNICEF office for Bihar, delivered an introductory comment.
He showed that at first, eight departments were included in the child’s budget, but now 11 departments will report for the same thing.
Prabhat P Ghosh, Secretary of the Member, Adri argued at his remarks that Bihar was close to the national level as far as IMR concerned but this was not the case by paying attention to the field of education.
In the second session, Barna Ganguli, Assistant Professor, CEPPF, Adri introduced the child’s budget manual, 2021.
