Bhubaneswar: The Vice-Chancellors’ (VCS) conference will be held on July 23 here in front of Arun Kumar Sahoo’s Higher Education Minister.
VCS will discuss their various university problems at the conference.
Large issues include the appointment of teaching staff and non-teaching at the level of universities and universities, acceptance and results of publications and progress on ongoing projects.
The meeting will be carried out in two parts between 9am and 19:00 on the day.
Odisha State Education Council will take the first round for discussions about various problems related to the teaching and learning process and maintain the quality of education in the institution.
The second half will be attended by registrants and finance supervisors of different state universities along with VCS.
The Minister will review most of the work of the University.

“The lack of teachers is a major problem for us.
Even though the government has tried to recruit teaching staff since 2019, he faces obstacles most of the time.
We hope this will be resolved at a meeting,” VC said.
Other VCs say comprehensive reviews of all university works will be carried out at the conference.
“Most institutions get funds under the scheme of Rashtriya Uchchattar Shiksha Abhiyan (deer).
Ministers will find out how the university spends money on which components,” he added.
A VC from a university located in West Odisha said they would ask the minister to speed up the teacher’s appointment process.
“Because of the lack of faculty members, PhD scholars facing problems to get research and research work is greatly affected,” he said, “VCS will also discuss about the smooth reception process this year.”
