Mumbai: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on Thursday interrogated the former Minister of State House Anil Deshmukh (72) for almost five hours in the 100-crore Rs money laundering case as his inderpaled Singh Sat lawyer “at visible distance”, as ordered by.
Bombay High Court.
Then, Singh told Mediodperson that Deshmukh Hrishikesh’s son would also appear before Ed.
Hrishikesh, an accused of in this case, has avoided the question by ED for months even though some calls.
Deshmukh has also avoided five calls and appeared in front of the Ed office on Monday without notice after the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court refused to give relief.
Ed had caught Deshmukh, Tuesday morning stating that he did not work together in an investigation during the question.
On the same day, he was produced before a special vacation court, which sent it into detention ed to Saturday.
On Thursday morning, ED officials took Deshmukh to a government hospital for routine medical examinations and took him back to their Ballard Estate office at around 1:30 a.m.
Half an hour later, they began to question Deshmukh, which lasted until 6pm.
Ed was investigating money laundering cases based on CBI fir where the former Police Commissioner Mumbai Param Singh accused that Deshmukh had asked now – reject Waze API Sachin to collect Hospital 100 crore from the bar owner every month.
Detention Ed stated that Deshmukh, based on his position as Minister of State House, received around Rs 4.7 Crore.
