Mumbai: Former Minister of Internal Affairs Anil Deshmukh Allegedly used Hospital 3.3 Crore Money has not been found to purchase 86 acres of land in Nagpur and Navi Mumbai more than a decade ago.
The money was part of the RS30 Crore Cash Has Not found that Deshmukh, with the help of colleagues, allegedly taken to the banking channel through Hawala operators, Shell companies and fictitious business transactions.
Deshmukh used this money to buy land, building a warehouse and business hotel and managing his Nagpur-based education trust, Ed said in Chargesheet against Desehmukh.
Desthmukh’s family also gave RS 13.25 Crore Cash for Delhi-based Hawala operators, which layered money through fictitious transactions and transferred to Nagpur Deshmukh’s account belief, Shri Sai Shikshan Sanstha, with the contribution after charging around 1.5% commission in total .
The money has not been found this different from the 4.7 Crore Rs which was dismissed by Police Sachin Waze had allegedly illegally collected from the bar owner and paid to serve the house then Deshmukh.
In the Chargesheet of Deshmukh, his children Hrishikesh and Salil, along with nine others, were suspected that the former minister and family had been infused by cash had not been found in the company not directly controlled by them for land purchases.
After that, the Deshmukh family was bought by these companies at a sheet price through the company that was directly controlled.
Greenland Buildspace, a company is not directly controlled by Deshmukh, has bought 40 acres of land in Chakkikhapa for RS 81 lakh in 2010.
The following year, the Desthmukhs was bought by Greenland Buildspace along with assets, an investment of Rs 3.65 lakh through a series of four direct companies controlled By them, namely Concrete Enterprises, Concrete Real Estate, AYATI GEMS and Atlantic Vista Real Estate.
Through the same four companies in the same year, the family has bought other companies indirectly controlled by them, Meadows Realtors, along with assets for RS 3 Lakh.
Just before the transaction, Meadows Realtors has bought 22 acres in Bharatwada and 4 acres in Chakkikhapa (both in Nagpur) for RS 33 Lakh, which belongs to Deshmukh after the acquisition of the company.
Then, between 2017 and 2019, the Deshmukh family sells land purchased by Greenland Buildspace and Meadows Realtors for Rs 4.85 Crore and Rs 2.43 Crore, respectively.
Similarly, Deshmukhs has invested RS 2 Crore in the company’s Premier Links (PPL) through Flourish Properties, which is indirectly controlled by them.
PPL has bought around 20 hectares of agricultural land in Dhutum Village, Taluka Uran in Navi Mumbai in 2004-08 to establish a customs station.
After that, Salil and Hrishikesh became 50% of the owner of the PPL, along with the land worthy of several hundred crores, after the investment was only Rs 18 Lakh.
In his statement to the ER, Deshmukh said that he did not know about the funds received by Shri Sai Shikshan Sanstha because he was not involved in his daily affairs.
He also said Ed that he had no knowledge of the company controlled by family members and did not know about the source of funds used for land purchases.
